BUILDING PERMITS |
| Permit
fees shall be based on the contract or selling price of
an installation or alteration. Permit fees are hereby
fixed as follows: |

PLAN
CHECK
Is an amount equal to 50% of the building permit fee.
This does not include fees for plumbing, electrical, mechanical,
trailer, manufactured buildings, mobile home, and roofing
permits.
Additional plan checks required due to revised design
after original 100% plan check has been completed shall
be assessed an additional fee equivalent to original plan
check fee. |
B.
SIGN PERMITS
All classifications, point of sale, real estate, identification,
directional and billboards, which are six (6) square feet
or more in area; $35.00 or fee established by the value
of the construction, whichever is greater. See Reedy Creek
Improvement District EPCOT Building Code and Land Use
Regulations for requirements pertaining thereto. |
C.
TEMPORARY STRUCTURES
The permit fee for temporary structures such as trailers,
pre-assembled manufactured buildings and mobile homes
shall be $35.00 for each unit having a width of 12’0”
or less, and $35.00 for each additional unit or section
in excess of 12’0” in width.
A reinspection fee of $35.00 for the structure shall be
paid at the time a renewal of the installation permit
is required. |

E.
PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, AND GAS PERMIT
Permit fee shall be based on the contract or selling price
of an installation of alteration.

The Department of Building and Safety shall charge and

STRUCTURE DEMOLITION
The fee for demolition of structures such as buildings,
bridges, towers, and underground structures shall be based
upon contractors’ total price for work to be performed. |

ALL OTHER INSPECTIONS
For all other inspections required or provided for, the
fee for such service shall be $65.00 per hour. |
J.
REINSPECTION FEE
For all reinspections required or provided for, the fee
for such service shall be $35.00 for the first reinspection.
If additional reinspections are required on the same correction,
the fee shall be $50.00 |
K.
TIME LIMITATIONS, REVOCATIONS, ETC.

L.
PAYMENT
Any person requiring a building permit in addition to
filing an application therefore and before such permit
is issued shall pay such permit fee and plan check fee
as required by the Reedy Creek Improvement District.
Plumbing, electrical, mechanical and other permit fees
shall be payable uponapplication of permit. |
M.
DOUBLE FEE
When work for which a permit is required is commenced
prior to obtaining of a permit, the fees as specified
herein may be doubled, but in no event shall such doubled
fee be less than seventy dollars ($70.00). The payment
of such double fee shall not relieve any person, firm,
or corporation from fully complying with all of the requirements
of applicable regulations and codes, nor shall it relieve
them from being subject to any of the penalties therein. |
N.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
If any equipment or protective clothing is required for
special job conditions or material, the contractor shall
pay such equipment or clothing. |
